A Course in Miracles

– with Simon Christopher

Your Atonement Curriculum

It’s important to remember that this Course comes to you directly from out of time, through Jesus Christ as your Atonement curriculum to lead you back Home to the Father.  The Course itself may be offensive, objectionable or completely unacceptable. It says that God knows nothing about a world of separation, fear, chaos, loss, suffering and death. He knows nothing about a separate self-identity that peers about in darkness. What can be perceived is not the Kingdom of Heaven therefore you must learn to transform your perceptions of an objective world of time and space. You must learn to forgive.

Transformed perception is the purpose of this Course, it is a perception that sees the reflection of Truth everywhere; in all people, places and things. To learn to look upon the face of Christ the world was made to hide.

The necessity to learn forgiveness is not a choice, it is only a matter of when! “You are not free to establish the curriculum….Only the time you take it is voluntary”

Forgiveness is the one idea that threatens the seeming stability and dependability of what is called ‘life’, your existence, your life, your dream, the world. It is really a transformative journey through the fear that underlies all worldly experience in the great reversal of the mind’s perspective about itself. Ending in the place where all illusions have their cause and where the Son of God remembers who he is.

Yet forgiveness is a learning, an un-learning of everything you taught yourself. It brings with it the healing and holiness of Heaven’s love as you learn to lay aside all illusions of your own reality.

Forgiveness is acquired. It is not inherent in the mind, which cannot sin.  As sin is an idea you taught yourself, forgiveness must be learned by you as well, but from a Teacher other than yourself, Who represents the other Self in you.  Through Him you learn how to forgive the self you think you made, and let it disappear. Thus you return your mind as one to Him Who is your Self, and Who can never sin. L-121.6

You who want peace can find it only by complete forgiveness.T-1.VI.1

Thank you,

In the love of Christ,

Tim

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  Matthew 11.28

The real world is attained simply by the complete forgiveness of the old, the world you see without forgiveness.  The great Transformer of perception will undertake with you the careful searching of the mind that made this world, and uncover to you the seeming reasons for your making it.  In the light of the real reason that He brings, as you follow Him, He will show you that there is no reason here at all.  Each spot His reason touches grows alive with beauty, and what seemed ugly in the darkness of your lack of reason is suddenly released to loveliness.  Not even what the Son of God made in insanity could be without a hidden spark of beauty that gentleness could release. T-17.II.6

All this beauty will rise to bless your sight as you look upon the world with forgiving eyes. For forgiveness literally transforms vision, and lets you see the real world reaching quietly and gently across chaos, removing all illusions that had twisted your perception and fixed it on the past. The smallest leaf becomes a thing of wonder, and a blade of grass a sign of God’s perfection. From the forgiven world the Son of God is lifted easily into his home.  And there he knows that he has always rested there in peace. T -17.II.7
