You are the given Answer to this transient world of constant change, existential despair and futility. No-one could find perfect peace and happiness here, in time, because this world was made to be a place where you can come to seek but never find that treasure your yearning heart is seeking for. The reality of the illusion that time and space are real and sin is eternal truth are integral to the self-concept, that contrived self-image; the alien self that is an alien to your Self.
Denial of the Self, your true identity, your pure and sinless nature as God created you inexorably leads to suffering; it is its cause no matter what condition or experience seems to be the ‘cause’ you gave it otherwise.
“Deny your own Identity, and you will not escape the madness which induced this weird, unnatural and ghostly thought that mocks creation and that laughs at God. – What could it be but vicious and afraid, fearful of shadows, punitive and wild, lacking all reason, blind, insane with hate?” L191
Salvation of the world then, depends upon one thing alone; that you deny this denial and actively. Proceeding inward, quickly, passing the intellect, the conceptual, in the almighty stillness where all things are revealed – to remember His truth about the Self you are, now and in eternity. Only this realization can save the world and only this realization can be called healing. Nothing else in the relative dualistic, conditioned state will afford you anything. That state has never been, it is not true, it is not the truth and is not true now in this holy, timeless instant we share with each one and in the universe where each one is united in One life.
“Only forgiveness can relieve the mind of thinking that the body is its home. Only forgiveness can restore the peace that God intended for His holy Son. Only forgiveness can persuade the Son to look again upon his holiness.” L192
This transitional moment is where we meet and lose our fear of joining. It does not ‘happen’ by itself, it must be your choice, a conscious decision made, a determination to find the means by which that ‘sweet transition’ occurs and what seemed so insurmountable is overcome.
The help we need we have already, it is here waiting in the wings but for the asking. Ask with desire! For time wastes and is meted out with such deception and the comfort it so poorly offers does not readily welcome the outrage of Truth.
Accept the function God has given and see no other function here for there is none except you petition for more time, more angst, another death. Let us not waste time but seek with all our heart to know the Holy Son of God firsthand. For you are That and cannot be a something that is less.
“How much do you want salvation? It will give you the real world, trembling with readiness to be given you. The eagerness of the Holy Spirit to give you this is so intense He would not wait, although He waits in patience. Meet His patience with your impatience at delay in meeting Him. Go out in gladness to meet with your Redeemer, and walk with Him in trust out of this world, and into the real world of beauty and forgiveness.” T-17.II.8
The ‘accelerated learning situation’ is one that has been wholly dedicated to Truth. The Father’s sacred, inviolate Truth about yourself comes through understanding the true meaning of forgiveness and the true nature of Mind. Original, primordial, sinless, or if you wish, ‘non-dual’, Mind. The Self that cannot be identified objectively as self. It is the loss of objectivity in Wholeness and in certainty, being all that It is without an opposite of any kind.
“Your Father is as close to you as is your brother. Yet what is there that could be nearer you than is your Self?” T.21.IV.10
Each glimpse of glory that shines through the veil and touches your foundation will call you to rise with greater urgency to meet your Self. In no fantasy have you ever been able to capture the un-speakable, unknowable beauty of ‘That’ which is the ‘I Am’, “That I Am ”.
That experience is the Will of God and the only Answer to the problem of the world; the problem of ignorance and suffering we may call ‘Homo Sapiens’.
“With anger gone, you will indeed perceive that, for Christ’s vision and the gift of sight, no sacrifice was asked, and only pain was lifted from a sick and tortured mind. Is this unwelcome? Is it to be feared? Or is it to be hoped for, met with thanks and joyously accepted? We are one, and therefore give up nothing. But we have indeed been given everything by God… Yet do we need forgiveness to perceive that this is so.” L192
We trust our aim to have a place dedicated to this exciting adventure in awakening will be realized soon. While this spiritual awakening is innately ultra-personal in nature, it is also true that joining in truth in a ‘true’ or holy association is a powerful help that will save you time. Each one that joins in purpose and in mind, is learning through experience the overcoming of the individual will to remain separate, weak and alone in dreams of fear. Together we are a power for His Will on earth that brings the Truth within reach of those who have been seeking since that first ‘tiny tick of time’. To share, to give, is the meaning of the Atonement.
“Then let the Son of God awaken from his sleep, and opening his holy eyes, return again to bless the world he made…And he will sleep no more and dream of death… Your glory is the light that saves the world… Look about the world, and see the suffering there. Is not your heart willing to bring your weary brothers rest?” L191.10
We need only recognize in each other only what God has placed there to discover that we behold Christ through Himself. Vision is His gift! How simple! How glorious, how incomparably joyful as we, through forgiveness, return our grateful minds to Him!
“It seems to you the world will utterly abandon you if you but raise your eyes. Yet all that will occur is you will leave the world forever. This is the re-establishment of your will. Look upon it, open-eyed, and you will nevermore believe that you are at the mercy of things beyond you, forces you cannot control, and thoughts that come to you against your will. It is your will to look on this. No mad desire, no trivial impulse to forget again, no stab of fear nor the cold sweat of seeming death can stand against your will. For what attracts you from beyond the veil is also deep within you, unseparated from it and completely one.” T-19.IV.D.7
